What Level I includes
This add-on is applied only to an existing nail service you’ve scheduled at Studio Chique. Level I covers small, graphic elements — straight lines, dots and other minimally timed features — and is intended to be completed within the add-on appointment. Confirm the base manicure or pedicure when you book so your technician can reserve the appropriate 15 minutes for the add-on.
Level I emphasizes simplicity: precise placement, crisp lines and small accents that read well on short or long nails. More intricate textures, layered motifs or freehand detailed scenes are beyond this level; choose Level II when complexity or extra time is required. Pricing for Level I begins at Starting at $30 and will be added to your base nail service.
How we plan designs
Design choices are made during your scheduled nail appointment so technicians can set placement and color within the add-on time. Bring reference images on your phone; we’ll adapt them to a Level I scale. Many clients visiting after commutes from Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood or Brookland-CUA Metro stations appreciate quick planning and our flexible early-morning or evening bookings.
Because Washington’s humid subtropical climate can affect polish drying, technicians sometimes adjust placement or curing pace so simple line work remains crisp. Short appointments and active lifestyles mean Level I favors low-maintenance designs that withstand commuting and family routines common in Langdon and nearby neighborhoods like Brookland and Brentwood.
What to expect during appointment
Your technician will complete nail prep and base color as part of the manicure or pedicure you booked; Level I art is applied toward the end of that service. The add-on is scheduled for 15 minutes and is designed to be precise rather than elaborate, so expect a focused, efficient application that fits within your overall appointment time.
Minimal line and dot designs are generally lower-maintenance, making them a practical choice for commuters and parents who need durable, everyday wear. If you anticipate heavy wear, want layered textures, or complex freehand art, upgrade to Level II. We can also schedule short touch-ups during follow-up visits at Studio Chique in Langdon to refresh small chips or fading.
