"A Black owned luxury spa in walking distance of my house? YES PLEASE! My husband walked past this spa and recommended I schedule a visit for relaxation. I took his advice and booked the Head Spa. It was such a a soothing and pleasant experience! I am allergic to any hair products that have gluten (wheat protein) in them, but I didn't have any allergic reaction to their products and even added a trim to my visit. Such an outstanding job that my curls have never looked better! As a natural curl girl, I rarely look to salons for help, but I will keep this salon for any of my beauty needs. I can't wait to try out their other services. "

"Studio Chique is yet another gem in the Brookland/Woodbridge neighborhood. They offer a number of services to get you pampered, relaxed, and looking and feeling your best. Staff were extremely friendly, greeting you on arrival, welcoming you with water, and making sure you were relaxed. The upstairs (entry level) had more of the salon vibe with upbeat music playing. The downstairs was elegant and relaxing with light music, dim lighting, and wall waterfalls. I came for a massage and while initially skeptical due to it being higher priced than my usual place, it was well worth the premium. The room was so relaxing, the masseuse was fantastic (admittedly, it was so relaxing that I fell asleep), and I left feeling new. This will become my regular spot for massages and I'll have to check out their other services!"

I came in for color, extensions, a bang, and a ponytail and left feeling like I should've been riding in the back of a Rolls with oversized sunglasses and a glass of prosecco. "I received the Japanese head spa service with Jasminn and a silk press by Ngina, the owner. highly recommend the head spa if you want a full service hair treatment and education. It's also very relaxing and Jasminn was very gentle with my hair which I loved. You will get offered complimentary snacks and drinks for the appointment which is lovely. The silk press service was a luxury but also informative as she told me about the state of my hair. Her staff is extremely nice and very professional too which I am also a stickler for. Studio Chique is definitely a go to for healthy hair and relaxation! "

She was very sweet, explaining everything she was doing and made suggestions for the best care for my hair.
